These are some photos of the Metairie du Helles has it stood through history

1826
The manor is clearly visible on the 1826 cadastre. The dovecote, a privilege of nobility is clearly visible. It was demolished we believe in the 1920s to gain a few square meters of arable land... There are two watermills. One is still standing, and the other one collapsed in the 1980s. The previous owners collected the remaining stones and we are using them for the renovation. Many of these stones can still be found in the South garden.


1918
Two postcards which most probably date back to that year. Little has changed.
